"I returned my car to the dealer after it turned out to be a lemon. GMAC finance listed the car on my credit report as a repossession and said I still owed the full balance due on the original contract. GMAC had sold the car at auction and reduced my balance due by almost two-thirds. The account was sold to a collection agency which said I owed even more.
